Nestled in the heart of Africa, the Central African Republic spans approximately 622,984 square kilometers, showcasing a diverse population and French as the official language. Historically anchored in agriculture and natural resources, the nation has primarily relied on sectors like timber and diamond mining. Recognizing the imperative for economic diversification, the Central African Republic is actively promoting industries such as mining, energy, and infrastructure development to enhance economic resilience. Initiatives to attract foreign investment and foster innovation underscore the country's commitment to transformative growth. As the nation navigates its developmental trajectory, addressing historical challenges is paramount, with a steadfast focus on achieving sustained and inclusive economic advancement while embracing and preserving its rich cultural heritage.

 

Brief presentation of UPF :

Since its launch on December 8, 2005, UPF has played a pivotal role in organizing numerous peace conferences and rallies. Through active involvement in the peace and social cohesion process during challenging events, UPF Central Africa has gained the trust of Ambassadors for Peace (APs) at all levels. This credibility culminated in the signing of an Establishment Agreement between UPF and the Central African Government on October 28, 2019. Noteworthy activities carried out by UPF include reconciliation conferences fostering unity between Christians and Muslims, as well as initiatives like the Bridge of Peace and Peace Road activities dedicated to promoting harmony and understanding within the community.
